So, I said this thing where I would start posting stories on the regular, and then posted a completely different story saying I would do that one instead every other week (or every week if I was good). Well, it’s been a month, and I have about half of what I was going to post two weeks ago… Which is to say, I don goofed. Life has been, special, which isn’t an excuse for not writing. Being a writer means I should sit down and write, every day, whether or not I feel like writing or have a good story or life is being stressful. And I haven’t, and I apologize. This blog has been a good motivator, and it’s one of the only reasons I’ve been able to get as far as I have on There Will be Dragons.
So, I haven’t died, I’m still writing, and I hope to actually be able to make good on my promise to write regular stories.
P.S. A note about the quality of my writing on the blog. It’s not… stellar. I am lazy about proofreading, and I use a lot of prose crutches (like connecting thoughts with “and”, or using parentheses to expand on sentences…), and I repeat sayings a lot (see the use of “So, “) and my style is a bit lackluster. But I promise, my stories will be better. Better even than the prologue, which I proofread a couple times but never had anyone else read it. For the main chapters, I plan on having a few other people edit them before I post. Anywho, have a good whatever, be a good whatever, write a good whatever. Ttfn
